CHIARA AJKUN, one of the world eminence in Classical Ballet, principal dancer and protagonist of major productions in preeminent companies and theaters of the USA and Europe, has dedicated her teaching career to develop a scientific methodology (the Ajkun Methodology) to teach ballet. Based on Vaganova and advanced scientific university researches, the Ajkun Methodology is present in the best dance conservatories and academies of the world.
As Choreographer, Chiara has created over 50 new ballets for professional companies, televisions and principal dancers. Appointed Artistic Director in 1985, Chiara first served the University of Dance, the company Balletto di Mantova and, since 2000, the New York City based Ajkun Ballet Theatre. Dr. Ajkun teaches at the Dance in Italy: Ballet (Advanced/Professional), Pointe and Variations, Theory & Pedagogy. More information:

KLEVIS TAFAJ, principal dancer with the Ajkun Ballet Theatre, began his career at the National Opera and Ballet of his native Albania. Gold Medallist and Oustanding Dancer Award, Klevis has performed as a Guest Star all over the world and most recently on Broadway and with the National Ballet of Raffaele Paganini as well as with World Stars of Ballet in Argentina, Bolivia, United Kingdom, Brazil, Germany and Italy.

ICHIKO NAKAJIMA, she got an Artistic degree at “The Beijing
Dance Academy” in China, obtaining then a Master in Dance at the “New York University” in the United States.

VALENTINE LOMELLINI, after an Artistic and Theatrical formation
and training, she is today PhD and Research Fellow at the
